Maruti Alto 800 Vs Hyundai Eon Vs Chevrolet Spark


Maruti Alto 800 is the new launched decent small car in India from the stable of nation’s biggest passenger vehicle maker, MSIL. Since launch the new Maruti small car has been receiving tremendous response from domestic customers due to its eye-catchy body design, impressive fuel efficiency and mindblowing performance as well as affordable price. It is a fully new designed small car model that is giving sleep nights to other same segment cars like Hyundai Eon and Chevrolet Spark. Since launch it has been showing recordable bookings and it expected that by end of this year, the Alto 800 will be touch the booking mark of one lakh in Indian domestic market.


The company has offered the new Alto 800 with two fuel options like petrol and CNG. The duel fuel Maruti Alto 800 price is very competitive in its category for both models. Base variant of gasoline model is priced at Rs. 2.40 lakh while the high-end variant comes at Rs. 3.10 lakh. It offers four variants in petrol model like Std., LX, LXI and LXI Airbag. On the other hand, CNG trim of the vehicle offers its base variant at Rs 3.15 lakh while the top-end variant is priced at Rs. 3.52 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It offers three variants from features wise like Std, LX and LXI.


Maruti Alto 800 features are also decent and due to a large choice of variants and innovative features it is giving tough competition to Eon and Spark. The Hyundai Eon is priced between Rs. 2.75 lakh to Rs. 3.77 lakh. It also is a dual fuel small car and offers five variants in petrol and three variants in LPG model. Chevrolet Spark offers all the variants between Rs. 3.16 lakh to Rs. 3.99 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It offers three variants in petrol model and two variants in LPG model. Here the Alto 800 is cheaper than its both competitors.


Maruti Alto 800 mileage and power are impressive. It comes loaded with a 0.8L, 3-cylinder sophisticated petrol heart that churns out sheer power of 48 PS at 6000 rpm and top torque of 69 Nm at 3500 rpm. Its petrol model offers 17.5 kmpl in city and 22.74 kmpl on long roads while the CNG model offers 25.5 kmkg in city and 30.46 kmkg mileage on highway. On the other hand Eon petrol offers 17.1 kmpl and 21.1 kmpl of mileage in city and highways respectively. On the other hand Spark delivers 14 kmpl in city and 18 kmpl on highways. Here the Alto 800 is fuel efficient.



Maruti Alto 800 pictures appear eye-catchy because it is very good designed in keeping mind much interior space. It offers Power Steering, Digital Clock, Power Windows front, Body Colored Bumpers and Door Handles, Driver Airbag. On the other hand Eon and Spark offer some more features than it. Overall at the competitive and affordable price range the Alto 800 is a reliable and value for money small car which is good to buy.
